Tip: While it's best to save your boost for straightaways, you can always use it to perform an impromptu shortcut across a windy part of the track. However, make sure you time it correctly or else you'll be flying out into the great blue yonder.

Tip: If you're feeling exceptionally dastardly while racing on the Asteroid Belt track, you can nudge opponents off the road by running into them when they're close to the railing.

Tip: To gain a little extra speed while racing, press down on the analog stick. Conversely, if you need to slow down a bit, press up.

Tip: You can actually dodge falling items. Whenever you hear a high-pitched noise, alter your direction slightly so as not to get pummeled by a falling pink elephant, anvil, or other large object.
